Ron Paul on Medicine

Other than John Stossel's, "Sick in America," which by the way you can find on YouTube, this is the best explanation of why we don't need socialized medicine and how a free market really can work. Dr. Paul, an OB/GYN lays out his plans for a better health care system.

This one's for you, Carly.

John Stossel's, "Sick in America" was great. The whole 3rd party system keeps prices elevated and quality down. Competition is minimal, and patients have no way to compare costs and quality among providers. People need to wake up to this.

You're right. A large problem in particular is that a system based on top down service supply eliminates incentives for better quality and lower costs, which a free market system naturally moves towards.
